I get tired because I feel like I have to manage and take note of the energy in the room. After it all, it’s like I’ve downloaded a lifetime of details about every person I spoke to.

Feeling other people’s emotions, even when I don’t want to. I’m like a human sponge.

Getting overstimulated. In my mind, I’m plotting an escape to the nearest dark room with a pillow.

I can get zapped by all the people in need. I see so many opportunities to help, but there’s only one of me.
